Key Responsibilities

  • Own social media strategy for a portfolio of six wedding industry clients across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok

  • Develop and execute tailored content plans aligned to each client's brand, audience, and business goals

  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication, proactive thinking, and monthly performance reviews

  • Collaborate with the Directors on strategic planning and quarterly reviews

Content Planning & Creation

  • Plan, create, and schedule content calendars across all platforms

  • Write copy that captures each client's unique voice across captions, stories, and community responses

  • Edit video content and capture footage at shoots and events when relevant

Community Management & Analytics

  • Monitor and manage client accounts daily; respond to comments and messages with authenticity and speed

  • Track performance monthly, identify what is working, and make clear recommendations

  • Stay across platform changes, industry trends, and competitor activity

Additional Marketing Activities

  • Update and maintain client blogs and websites as required

  • Execute email marketing campaigns customised to each client

  • Support creative planning and execution of content shoots and campaigns for relevant clients

  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required by management

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Minimum two years in social media management, ideally across multiple client accounts

  • Strong copywriting with the ability to adapt voice across different brands

  • Proficiency across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok

  • Competent in Canva and CapCut for design and basic video editing

  • Organised, autonomous, and a clear communicator — you manage your workload and keep people informed

Highly Valued

  • Experience with Meta Ads or other paid social platforms

  • Advanced video editing or motion graphics capability

  • AI tool experience for content creation and workflow efficiency

  • Email marketing experience

  • A genuine interest in or background in the wedding industry

In the first six months, you are across your portfolio, your clients trust you, and your content is performing. By twelve months, you are a strategic partner to your clients — not just a service provider. You are contributing ideas, spotting opportunities, and your accounts are growing.

Specifically, we look at:

  • Consistent growth in key metrics quarter on quarter

  • 80% or higher client retention past the 12-month mark

  • Positive client feedback on communication and strategic contribution

  • Monthly reports delivered accurately and on time

  • Same-day or next-business-day response to all client communications

We are a small, remote team with everyone based in Sydney. This role is predominantly work from home with monthly in-person meeting days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design visual assets for social media clients (including posts, carousels, stories, and reels covers)

  • Create EDM/newsletter layouts and branded templates for social media clients

  • Support the team with internal and client-facing documents and presentations

  • Work closely with Social Media Managers and Directors to deliver high-quality, on-brand design quickly and efficiently

  • Interpret briefs and brand guidelines to produce polished designs across multiple brands

  • Participate in creative planning and support with ad-hoc design needs

  • Optional: Assist with larger branding or visual identity projects depending on experience and availability

Essential Requirements

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 1 years in a graphic design role (agency or freelance experience preferred)

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Canva

  • Comfortable designing for both digital and social media formats

  • Strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills

  • Bonus if you’re familiar with platforms like Flodesk, Mailchimp & Squarespace
