What To Expect When You Hire A Digital Marketing Agency

You are ready to outsource your marketing, but want a peek behind the curtain of what is involved in hiring an external Digital Marketing Agency... let us show you!

THE ENQUIRY AND INTERVIEW PROCESS

The process started when you first enquire with us via the enquiry form on our website. In response to your enquiry you will receive our Service Kit. If you are interested in learning more, we will arrange a meeting so that we can learn about your brand, your marketing pain points and your objectives. Our questions will also cover what your marketing has been like to date and content creation. If we feel that we would be a good fit then we will then provide you with a custom proposal for your consideration.

STEP ONE - ADMINISTRATION

Once a service proposal has been agreed upon an invoice and retainer agreement will be sent to the client. The invoice will cover the first months service fee and will need to be paid alongside signing the service agreement before any work begins. At this time we will also establish 'soft' and 'hard' start dates that we will be working to in the next step.

For marketing services, as we prepare content plans a month in advance, the payment schedule will reflect this. There is also a minimum 6 month commitment for retainer services.

STEP TWO - ONBOARDING

Onboarding your business so we can work on marketing your brand is a 4 week process. This begins with a meeting where we will ask you a series of questions about your marketing and business and are much more in depth than the questions we asked in the interview process.

From this interview and in conjunction with the next step we will put together a marketing strategy document that will inform our marketing activities for your brand. This allows us to dive deep into you brand and to brainstorm and curate strategies that will be best suited to your brand and your target customer.

STEP THREE - CONTENT COLLECTION

At the beginning of the 4 week on boarding process we will require you to supply us with information and content relevant to the marketing efforts for your brand.

This includes your brand guidelines, tone of voice document, information about your product and / or services as well as access to all images and video content you have available and want utilised in your marketing. We will also establish the appropriate systems to allow the ongoing sharing of content during our working relationship.

STEP FOUR - YOUR FIRST CONTENT PLAN

With your marketing strategy completed, and with all of the information and collateral received we will being creating your first months content plan. This will be provided to you alongside a Loom video that walks you through the content plan and what to expect each month. It is in these early months when we are still getting to know your brand that your feedback is crucial. If required edits will be made, and once we have approval we will be able to begin scheduling the content across various platforms.

ONGOING MANAGEMENT

Following the first months content plan, we will move into a reoccurring monthly cycle which will involve sending you monthly content plans for approval as well as undertaking community management, engagement activations and monthly reporting.

We will also schedule regular meetings with you so that we can continue to discuss your business objectives & how the marketing efforts can help facilitate these.
