BRAND IDENTITY DIRECTION

For Zoë Morley’s rebrand, we wanted to focus on creating an identity that represented the elegant, high quality standard of her work, but still felt warm, familiar and distinctly personal. The main feeling we wanted to focus on conveying was ‘connection’, this can be seen in the smaller details - the curved accent joining the ‘O’ and ‘R’ in the logo and the intricate ‘picture frame-like’ design of the monogram. A handwritten style script font adds a personal, soft touch to the overall brand identity, whilst the rich olive green and sandy tones tie in perfectly to Zoë’s emotive photography.

WEBSITE DESIGN

After completing her brand identity, we then took key stylistic elements from this to seamlessly transfer it to her Squarespace website. The main goal was to create a site that was easy to navigate, had a high-fashion yet approachable feel and showcased her beautiful imagery well.

Large split screen layouts with image slideshows allow the user to be enveloped by Zoë's work as soon as they navigate to her 'Weddings' or 'Portraits' pages, whilst timeless typography hierarchies set the tone for an elegant website experience.
