Straight out of university following studies in fashion and styling, we both unexpectedly ended up in the wedding industry, Sophie in events and Aimee working in bridal.
After meeting through work, we originally started a side hustle with visions of it being the most comprehensive online bridal directory, paired with an online bridal accessories store. Through growing this business and creating our own marketing content, we soon had brands reaching out wanting us to sprinkle our aesthetic and magic on their photoshoots, and then their branding, and then their website design... and so on.
In 2018 we founded ENGAGED CREATIVE, a marketing agency that attracts wedding businesses from around the world for our distinct and refined aesthetic alongside our complementary skill sets. Sophie brings her enthusiasm for ideas and a creative mindset executing swoon worthy campaigns and innovative marketing ideas for clients, while Aimee focuses on the business development and growth for clients through strategy and diving deep into the data.
With close to 20 years of combined experience within the wedding industry, we know it inside and out, which is why we are sharing our knowledge with you.

The Engaged Marketing Method is divided into two sections defined by set up and action.
The first section focuses on your businesses marketing Foundation, Elements and Ecosystem - let's call it the groundwork. The trick to having confidence and being time efficient with your marketing efforts is to have your brand, your offering, your ideal client and your customer's journey clearly defined, your marketing elements set up and working for you as a functioning ecosystem and a content pool you can utilise for your marketing.
With these in place we can move into the second section which is where the action takes place. This is where you implement and continue to utilise a repeatable marketing system of plan, scheduling, reviewing and engaging within your business.

In this Module we will deep dive into the more tangible aspects of your brand to recognise what marketing elements you have and what elements are missing or need to be updated to reflect the business you have today and into the future. Once we have established the Who, What & Why, we need to figure out WHERE you want to market your business. This isn't about being everywhere or trying to do all the things - it is about deciding what are the main internal and external marketing channels you want to focus on and then showing you how you can leverage your content across those chosen channels.

In our opinion, this is where the fun starts! In this module, we plan out your marketing system and break it down into actionable daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tasks. We then let you utilise a scheduling program of your choice to schedule and leverage your content, before also showing you how to engage efficiently and build community.
